Set for yourself the feeling goals
The ultimate motivation and a tool to create your life
When you think about your future, you are naturally drawn to many possible scenarios and it is true that you might expect some things and some are just unexpected in the richness of life.
The very potent way is to feel into your future. And the differece is that as you immerse yourself into feeling states that you desire, it become a lot more tangible to visualise and embody what you want.
The very process of creating your own feeling states is powerfull enough to keep you grounded in daily life. But the power of future and feeling combined gives you the leverage you might appreciate as one of the best ways to create.
First, you have a present moment and a present feeling state, more or less consciously experienced by your present self. So it begins with time management and your ability to spend some time with your feeling state. This in itself is a massive skill - the ability to sit now and write a feeling state you want to experience. As times goes by, you will find more and more glimpses of those requested feeling states in your daily life. And this is a clear indicator that guides you to decisions: whether to amplify or continue current experience or is it better for you to change it.
As you write down and verbalise those states, you create a strong connection between your thinking patterns and your feeling states. Amongst ever-changing environment, the ability to declare and take actions upon your will with confidence is a power that allows you to navigate the flow of your life circumstances.
When you intimately know the feeling that you are after, you know what feels off and you gain discernment in any current state of affairs. When you create list of feeling states you want to experience, your days become filled with raw material to create those feelings. You start to adjust, shift, try and expand. You also see people and conversations differently.
You can divide your list into categories like: relationships, passions, every day situations and many more. It is very usefull to create this list for the first time and let some time pass. During that time, let yourself experience things and make notes on how you want to feel. The emotional oblivion that clouds most things in life will start to form vivid and precise shapes for you. You will be able to tell yourself what does your life consist of every day. You will be able to name experiences and you will learn how to fine-tune the life you want.
A while ago I wanted to feel more in touch with my body dynamics. When a tutorial on a headstand appeared on my social feed, I was drawn to it, although I was never able to use my body like this. As I watched and tried to emulate, this particular technique seemed to work for me and it makes me feel the balance I wanted to accustom myself with. I am able to pace myself in this process because I know the feelings I am after. The proper headstand would be a cherry on top but I am not in a rush through my long-awaited dessert. And this is how the feelings work - they pace life, they allow discernment, enhance decision-making, keep you grounded and fuel you throughout your life.
I am very happy to see the results of this feeling goals work in lives around me and if you want to share, feel welcome below.
